PhD in Psychology and degree of Social Work, she is a professor in the Department of Sociology and Social Work in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Comillas University of Madrid.
Her teaching activity focuses on individual and family social intervention and professional supervision. Her main lines of research are child poverty and social exclusion, innovation projects in the socio-educational field and life transitions and youth loneliness. She is a scientific advisor of the CaixaProinfancia project in the Region of Madrid.

“Variables affecting educational success in contexts of vulnerability”
This talk presents an analysis of the variables that fundamentally contribute to or hinder the educational success of students in vulnerable situations, providing results of academic research in this field, as well as sociodemographic and educational data of relevant entities and organizations. Some intervention proposals are made in order to promote educational success.
