ROUND TABLE
“Good practices for the participation model”

Enrédate (Get Engaged) – creating spaces for youth participation in situations of social vulnerability.
Enrédate arises from a work process that emerged two years ago in response to the need for young people in situations of social vulnerability to express their concerns and desires. In this process, financing sources have been sought, synergies have been generated in the environment and with the community, dynamic agents have been detected as well as finding the right moments and spaces to favor participation, among others. A Participatory Action Research has been promoted that aimed to “know how to transform” in a process in which young people can take part in the diagnosis, proposals and action by playing a leading role. This has made it easier for voices and gazes usually in the shadows to be taken into account, showing us the potential of young people who are overcoming complex situations and their skills to get involved and try to change their reality.
