PhD in Pedagogy, she is currently director of the Department of Education, Research Methods and Assessment in the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at Comillas University of Madrid.
Her teaching activity focuses on Research Methodology in Social Sciences and Educational Innovation. She is the director of the research group “Educational innovation for a comprehensive training in different stages and contexts,” her main lines of research being educational action in vulnerable contexts and the creation of measurement instruments for research. She is a scientific advisor of the CaixaProinfancia project in the Region of Madrid.

“Variables affecting educational success in contexts of vulnerability”
This talk presents an analysis of the variables that fundamentally contribute to or hinder the educational success of students in vulnerable situations, providing results of academic research in this field, as well as sociodemographic and educational data of relevant entities and organizations. Some intervention proposals are made in order to promote educational success.
